Man attacked and robbed on the outskirts of Blairgowrie.

A 30-year-old man has been assaulted and robbed by two men on the outskirts of Blairgowrie.

The man was attacked while walking on the town's Perth Road between 23.30 on Sunday and 00.30 on Monday.

His attackers knocked him to the ground before robbing him of his wallet. The victim was shaken and suffered minor facial injuries.

Police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.

The suspects are described as both being about 5ft 8in tall.

One of the men was of stocky build, wearing a dark-coloured beanie-style hat, a black waterproof jacket and jeans.

The other suspect was wearing a dark blue hooded top and jeans.
