A977 crash victim named as 90-year-old David Campbell

Tayside Police have released the name of a 90-year-old driver who died six days after he was involved in a two-car crash.

David Campbell, from Powmill near Dollar, suffered chest injuries after the collision on the A977 at Blairingone on 17 February.

He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital after the crash and died on Saturday.

Mr Campbell's family have said that he will be greatly missed.

Officers said the 90-year-old's red Ford Ka was involved in a collision with a silver Renault Megane.

A man and a woman who were in the Megane suffered minor injuries.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are continuing and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
