Three-year-old boy dies after incident at house in Falkirk

A three-year-old old boy who was injured in an incident at a house in Falkirk on Tuesday has died.

Ambulance crews were called to Garry Place, in the Hallglen area of town, at about 16:45.

The child was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh for treatment, but Central Scotland Police said on Friday that he had died.

A spokesperson for the force said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death were ongoing.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out later on Friday.
