Two arrests over Liquid nightclub attack in Dundee

Tayside Police have made two arrests following an attack on a woman at a nightclub in Dundee.

Two women aged 19 and 20 have been charged in connection with the incident at the Liquid nightclub in the early hours of 23 December.

The 26-year-old victim was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after suffering serious injuries to her head and face.

Police said a report had been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Officers had appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the attack to contact them.
