Crew still at scene of Kincardine recycling site fire

Oran blaze The fire broke out at the recycling plant on Thursday morning

The operation to put out a blaze at a waste treatment facility near Kincardine is now into its third day.

Fire crews were called to Oran Environmental Solutions' plant at Kilbagie Mill at 08:00 on Thursday.

About 20 firefighters are still involved in dampening down the warehouse that contained clothing, mattresses and waste paper.

Central Scotland Fire and Rescue said that no-one was injured in the incident.

Clackmannanshire Council has also sought to reassure the public that there are no health risks related to the dissipating plume of smoke from the site.
