Days before Kincardine recycling site fire is out, says council
It is expected to be several days before the fire at the plant is fully extinguished.
Clackmannanshire Council has said it expects efforts to extinguish a fire at a waste treatment facility near Kincardine to take several days.
Fire crews were called to Oran Environmental Solutions' plant at Kilbagie Mill at 08:00 on Thursday.
A total of 24 firefighters, three ground appliances and one aerial platform have remained on site.
The fire broke out in a warehouse containing clothing, mattresses and waste paper.
Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was injured during the incident.
The local authority has also sought to reassure the public that there are no health risks related to the dissipating plume of smoke from the site.
