Perth police probe man's death

Police are treating the death of a man found with serious head injuries in Perth as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to the multi park close to Bute Drive at 04:30 after the man was found lying seriously injured in the area.

He was taken by ambulance to Perth Royal Infirmary, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The man, who has not yet been formally identified, was believed to be aged in his late 20s.

Tayside Police said inquiries were ongoing to to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, with officers reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
