Large fire tackled at Glenbervie Kindergarden in Larbert

Fire scene About 40 firefighters were called to the scene of the nursery blaze

Firefighters have been dealing with a large blaze at a nursery school in Larbert.

Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the Glenbervie Kindergarden next to the Larbert High School at about 15:00.

The roof of the large building was well alight.

A spokesman for the fire service said that about 40 firefighters and 11 appliances were involved in tackling the blaze.
