Missing walkers found by search helicopter on Ben More

Search teams have found two hillwalkers who were missing overnight in very bad weather in central Scotland.

The pair had become separated from a group on Ben More near Crianlarich.

Police, two mountain rescue teams and an Royal Navy search and rescue helicopter were involved in the hunt.

Central Scotland Police said the walkers were spotted a couple of miles from the summit, on the south east slope. Both were said to be safe and well, although wet and tired.

The pair had last been seen at about 14:40 on Saturday afternoon. Officers said the weather overnight had been "extremely bad" at times.
