Tayside Police make bus appeal over sexual assault case

Tayside Police officers investigating the sexual assault of a Perth woman have said they are looking to speak to bus passengers.

Detectives have issued an appeal for anyone who travelled on the Stagecoach Goldline number 7 bus at about 19:45 on Sunday, 14 October, to contact them.

The service runs between the Bridgend area of Perth and Scone.

The 23-year-old woman was attacked by an intruder in her Potershill Gardens home in Bridgend the following day.

Tayside Police said they were keen to anyone who travelled on the number 7 bus or got on or off the bus in the Bridgend area.

Officers are not ruling out a link to another attack on a 68-year-old woman at a nearby home on the 14 October.

The man responsible for attack on the 23-year-old was said to have been wearing a navy coloured scarf, a dark coloured beanie hat, a grey jumper, and khaki green waterproof trousers with a black belt.

He was also wearing khaki green boots and spoke with an English accent.
