Woman, 76, threatened and robbed at Dundee newsagents

A 76-year-old woman has been threatened and robbed at a newsagents in Dundee.

Tayside Police said the woman was working at Stobswell Newsagents in Dura Street at about 18:50 on Monday when a man with a covered face entered the shop.

The man, described as being between 20 and 25, threatened the woman before making off with a sum of cash.

Officers said the woman was unhurt during the incident. They appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Police said the suspect was about 5ft 8in tall and of average build.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey hooded top, with the hood up, a dark-coloured scarf covering his face up to his eyes, grey jogging bottoms and grey or light blue-coloured trainers.
