Man rescued from 'suspicious' house fire in Dundee

Police are investigating a suspicious house fire after a man was rescued from an early morning blaze in Dundee.

Tayside Fire and Rescue Service were called to the house on Finavon Terrace at about 04:00 on Thursday morning.

A 53-year-old man was rescued from the house by firefighters. He was unharmed during the incident.

Tayside Police said officers were treating the blaze as suspicious after a joint investigation by the police and fire service.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Tayside Police.
