Dundee man accused of attacking bus with pitchfork
A man is to stand trial accused of trying to puncture the tyres on a bus outside a hospital with a pitchfork.
Gordon Duncan is accused of possessing an offensive weapon at a bus stance outside Dundee's Ninewells Hospital on 23 July this year.
The 55-year-old, from Dundee, denies the charge, as well another of conducting himself in a disorderly manner.
Sheriff Richard Davidson set a trial for January next year.
Mr Duncan is alleged to have shouted, sworn and attempted to puncture the bus tyres using the pitchfork.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, defence lawyer Theo Finlay said Duncan would enter a plea of not guilty.
Sheriff Davidson also ordered Duncan to appear at a pre-trial hearing in December.
