Police name Rhys Alexander as boy who died in Dundee fall

Tayside Police have named the boy who died after falling from a window in a block of flats in Dundee. He was three-year-old Rhys Alexander.

Police were called to Denhead Crescent in the city at about 14:30 on Friday.

The boy had sustained a serious head injury. He died later at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

A force spokesman said inquiries were ongoing "to establish the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident."

It is understood the boy fell from the second floor of the building.
