Man in court for alleged police smash in stolen car

A man has appeared in court charged with crashing into a police car while driving a stolen car in Milnathort, Kinross-shire.
Ryan Adsley, 19, is also alleged to have driven into a bollard and a wall in the stolen Toyota Corolla.
Mr Adsley, from County Place in Perth, appeared from custody at Perth Sheriff Court in connection with a series of motoring offences committed on 13 July.
He denied all charges against him and will face trial in September.
The teenager is alleged to have stolen the car from Whyte Place in Milnathort after stealing a wallet and its contents, including keys.
Numerous chargesHe is alleged to have driven carelessly in Milnathort and on the A911 and hit the bollard and wall before driving on in an erratic manner and running into the rear of a Tayside Police Volvo T70 estate.
Mr Adsley also faces charges of failing to stop for the police, failing to provide breath specimens and failing to stop and give details of the driver after an accident.
He is further alleged to have had no insurance, failing to display L plates as an unqualified driver, and possessing cannabis resin.
The teenager also appeared in private on a petition, alleging he carried out an assault and robbery on 1 July. He is alleged to have brandished a hammer and stolen a quantity of cash.
That case was continued for further examination and Mr Adsley, who made no plea or declaration, was remanded in custody.
