Police name biker who died in crash near Friockheim

Police have named a man who died after his motorbike was involved in a crash with a car near Friockheim in Angus.

The collision took place at about 15:00 on Wednesday on the A933 Brechin to Arbroath road.

Roland Bentley, 34, from Arbirlot, died from his injuries.

His pillion passenger and the driver of the car were both injured.

Mr Bentley's family said he would be "greatly missed".

Tayside Police said inquiries into the incident were continuing and appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
