Man charged with murder over Dundee Maltman pub death

A man has appeared in court charged with stabbing a father of four to death outside a pub in Dundee.

James Getty, 29, from the Hilltown area of Dundee, was found fatally injured outside the Maltman pub, in the city's Mains Road, at about 23:00 on Friday.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital but died a short time later.

Thirty-five-old Jamie Cumming was charged with murder and remanded into custody following a brief appearance at Dundee Sheriff Court.
