Two injured after crash closes A9

Two men have been injured in a crash which closed the A9 near Falkirk for two hours.

Central Scotland Police said the two-vehicle crash happened just before 08:00 on a stretch of road between Plean and Torwood.

One of the men was said to have been seriously injured, while the other escaped with minor injuries.

Both the drivers, the only occupants of the two cars, were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.
