Man charged over theft from Dundee pensioner

A 42-year-old man has been charged with stealing money from an 84-year-old disabled woman in Dundee.

The man allegedly posed as a workman before pushing past the woman into her home on Sunday morning and taking her handbag.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court later.

The woman was uninjured in the incident at her house in Clement Park Place but had been "extremely distressed", Tayside Police said.
