Woman dies after falling over on bus in Grangemouth

An 85-year-old woman who fell over on a bus in Grangemouth last week has died in hospital.

She injured her arm in the fall as the bus was travelling along Bo'ness Road in the town, near the junction with Abbots Road, on 30 January.

She was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert but her condition worsened and she died on Friday.

Central Scotland Police have asked anyone who saw what happened to contact them.

The woman's name has not yet been released. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
