Paragliders injured in mid-air collision in Perthshire

Two paragliders have been injured after colliding in mid air.

Tayside Police said the men landed heavily in the accident between Crieff and Comrie in Perthshire at about 10:30.

A 42-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

The men were flying motorised paragliders, where the pilot hangs below a parachute and wears a motor on his back, a police spokesman said.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact the force.
