Woman arrested following death of Robert Brereton

Manor Court on Myre Road Police were called to the flat after reports of a disturbance

A 45-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body was found at a flat in Forfar.

Officers were sent to the home in Manor Court on Myre Road shortly after 0100 BST after reports of a disturbance.

The victim, Robert Brereton, 48, who originates from Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, had sustained a number of injuries.

A report in connection has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
