Police appeal after garden blaze

Police are appealing for information after two wheelie bins and a recycling box were set on fire in a Clackmannanshire garden.

The blaze, which spread to a storage area next to the house, was discovered at about 0430 BST on Sunday at a house in Dorothy Terrace, Tillicoultry.

The occupants of the house were alerted to the fire by neighbours.

A spokeswoman for Central Scotland Police said officers were treating the fire as suspicious.
