Plans to build Jedburgh skatepark resubmitted

Plans to build a skatepark on a riverside area in Jedburgh have been resubmitted to Scottish Borders Council.

A bid was initially made last year by the Jed Skatepark Group to develop a grassy area known locally as "the Dip", between the A68 and Jed Water.

It attracted both objections and support from the local community but was withdrawn due to a technical issue.

A fresh application will now be considered by planning officials.
