Silo fall victim named by police as Zach Fox

Police have named a teenager who died after falling into a 50ft-high silo at a farm in the Scottish Borders on Friday.

He was Zach Fox, who was 19 years old and from Hawick.

His death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

The incident occurred at Deanfoot Farm, near the village of Denholm. Police are continuing to liaise with the Health and Safety Executive.
