Woman cut free after Cockburnspath A1 accident

A woman had to be cut free from her car by firefighters after a crash on the A1 near Cockburnspath in the Scottish Borders on Monday evening.

The vehicle and a van collided just before 18:50.

The full extent of the woman's injuries is not yet known.

She was among four people taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following the accident. Another woman and two men were described as "walking wounded".
