Newton Stewart social club collapses in blaze

Firefighters are working to bring a fire under control which has seen part of a social club near Newton Stewart collapse.

They were called out to the building at Penninghame at about 12:30.

There were no reports of any casualties as a result of the incident, however the single-storey building had partially collapsed.

Fire crews were working to keep two propane cylinders inside the building cool.
