Police in Dumfries investigate £17,000 JCB theft

Police have launched an investigation after a JCB telehandler worth about £17,000 was stolen from a location near Dumfries.

The large yellow vehicle was taken from West Galaberry at Kirkmahoe between 21:00 on Tuesday and 07:00 on Wednesday.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around those times has been asked to contact the police.
