Police say the death of a 37-year-old man whose body was discovered in a remote area of the Borders is being treated as "unexplained".

The discovery was made on exposed moorland near the village of Oxton on Tuesday afternoon.

An investigation has been launched but it is believed at this stage there are no suspicious circumstances.
