Scottish Borders electronic cigarette ban decision delayed

More information is being sought before a decision is reached on whether to ban electronic cigarettes from licensed premises in the Borders.

The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland wrote to all 32 Scottish local authorities asking them to consider the move.

Scottish Borders licensing board said it did not have enough information to reach a decision.

It is to write to REHIS and deferred the matter to a future meeting.
