Firefighters tackle Jedburgh farmhouse blaze

Fifty firefighters have been working through the night to bring a blaze at a farmhouse in the Borders under control.

The alarm was raised at about 01:00 at Lethem House near Jedburgh.

No-one was hurt but there has been extensive damage to the farmhouse after the roof collapsed.

Crews from Jedburgh, Hawick, Selkirk, Galashiels, Kelso and Edinburgh have been working a shift system to tackle the fire.

Investigation specialists are heading to the scene to establish the cause of the fire.
