Saws stolen in break-in at Pattersons Landscapes in Dalbeattie

Police have appealed for information after £3,000 worth of equipment was stolen from a landscaping business in Dalbeattie at the weekend.

Chain saws, hedge cutters and a saw were taken during a break-in at Patterson Landscapes in Port Road.

Officers said it happened sometime between 08:30 and 21:30 on Saturday.

In a separate incident an intruder was reported to have gained entry to a house in Stranraer on Friday evening.

It happened at a property in Leafield Road in the town at about 19:10. The householder was at home at the time.

Members of the public who have information connected to these either of the incidents were asked to get in touch with their local police station by calling 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
