Man dies at Tarff Valley agricultural suppliers

An investigation has been launched into the death of a man at an agricultural merchants in Dumfries and Galloway.

The 62-year-old died at a branch of Tarff Valley agricultural suppliers at Old Station Yard in the village of Whauphill near Newton Stewart.

The Health and Safety Executive and Police Scotland have begun a joint investigation into the incident, which happened on Friday morning.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
