Three men have appeared in court after cannabis worth £20,000 was found in a car in the Borders.
It follows the discovery of 2.5kg (5.5lbs) of drugs during routine checks on the A1 at Cockburnspath on Thursday.
Morr Mbye, 28, of Coventry, Muhammadu Jallow, 35, from Leeds, and Bamba Gaye, 31, of Rugby, all appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of drugs possession with intent to supply.
They made no plea or declaration and their cases were continued.
All three were remanded in custody.
