2020 Renewables considers Whitelaw Brae wind farm bid

A renewable energy firm is in the "very early stages" of plans for up to 22 wind turbines in the Borders.

2020 Renewables has submitted a scoping request to the Scottish government for Whitelaw Brae near Tweedsmuir.

Development director Jillian Adams said it was seeking input and comment from a "wide range of stakeholders" on its proposals for the site.

She added the company would continue to "engage" with the community after feedback on the scheme had come in.
