Dumfries and Galloway and Scottish Borders radio bulletins move

BBC Radio Scotland's regional news bulletins for the Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway have moved to new time slots.

From Monday they are being delivered at six-minute slots on the half-hour.

The new times to hear the bulletins are 06:30, 07:30 and 08:30 in the mornings, a lunchtime slot at 12:30 and drivetime news at 16:30 and 17:30.

The BBC said the move was aimed at providing as many listeners as possible with the opportunity to hear bulletins.

It replaces bulletins of various durations throughout the day and will see increased daily output from the offices in Selkirk and Dumfries.
