Hawick police seize counterfeit goods

Police in the Scottish Borders say they have recovered counterfeit goods worth nearly £20,000 after a search of a property in Hawick.

Officers seized T-shirts, boots and handbags branded with names like Jack Wills, Hugo Boss, Ugg and North Face.

They also took 12 Royalty Line knife sets from the property in the town's Weensland Road on Tuesday.

A statement said police were following a "positive line of inquiry" in relation to the seizure.
