Newton Stewart bus window bottle thrower sought by police

Police are trying to trace a youth who threw a bottle at the window of a bus in a town in south west Scotland.

The incident happened at about 14:40 on Saturday in Dashwood Square in Newton Stewart.

The window did not break, however police said some of the passengers had been shocked by the act.

It is believed that the person who threw the bottle had been refused entry to the bus just prior to the incident taking place.
