Scottish lamb: Farmers take message to supermarkets
NFU Scotland is taking its Scottish lamb campaign to two supermarkets it criticised for stocking foreign meat.
Both Asda and Tesco came under fire for having "substantial quantities of New Zealand and Australia lamb" following visits from secret shoppers.
The two companies said they were "committed" to using Scottish produce.
NFU Scotland will be outside two of their stores in the Borders this weekend to offer customers samples of Scottish lamb.
They are at Tesco in Galashiels on Saturday morning and the town's Asda in the afternoon.
The supermarkets both gave their permission for the events.
