Man and daughter injured in sledging accident
A man and his daughter have both suffered broken legs during a sledging accident in the Scottish Borders.
The 29-year-old and his seven-year-old daughter were on a hill in Selkirk on Saturday when their sledge veered off course and collided with a park bench.
Members of the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team (TVMRT) were called by police to help assist the Scottish Ambulance Service on the slope.
Both were taken to hospital with lower limb fractures.
