Lockerbie crash victim freed from vehicle

A crash victim with spinal injuries has been cut free from a two-vehicle crash in the south of Scotland.

The incident was reported by police at about 10:30 on the Corrie Road in Lockerbie.

Dumfries and Galloway Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of the crash, which involved a car and a van with a trailer.

Officers had to free one person from a vehicle and the road was closed and diversions put in place.
