Heriot farm quad bike thieves pursued

Police have launched an investigation after two quad bikes worth more than £6,000 were stolen from a farm in the Scottish Borders.

The incident happened some time between 18:00 on Wednesday and 06:20 on Thursday at the site near Heriot.

Lothian and Borders Police said the estimated value of the bikes was about £6,400.

They have asked anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact them.
