Up to 200 houses could be built in Peebles if plans put forward by a holiday park are given the green light.

Rosetta Holiday Park operator Bridge Leisure is proposing a major upgrade of facilities over the coming years.

It includes developing the Rosetta Road entrance area for housing to help fund those plans.

Rosetta Holiday Park ran into trouble last year with administrators being called in before it was eventually sold for £2.65m.

A drop-in exhibition of the proposals will be held at the Eastgate Theatre on 23 November from 16:00 to 19:00.
