A post-mortem examination has failed to establish the cause of the unexplained death of a 15-week-old baby from Dumfries.

Zaiidyn Burke, of Sunderries Avenue, was admitted to Dumfries Infirmary on Saturday afternoon before being transferred to Yorkhill Hospital.

He died in the Glasgow hospital on Monday.

Police said the cause of death was "as yet unascertained" and further analysis was now being undertaken.
