Police have identified an 18-year-old from the Borders who died after falling from his scooter at the weekend.
Graham Sinclair, of Reston near Eyemouth, died at the scene of the accident on the unclassified road near Ayton on Saturday.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Lothian and Borders Police said they were investigating the circumstances and asked anyone who was in the area to contact them.
