Woman knocked unconscious after toilet toppled in Dalbeattie

A woman was knocked unconscious when the portable toilet she was using was pushed over by a group of youths.

The 27-year-old was injured at about 22:45 on Saturday in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway, following the town's gala day celebrations.

She had been in the toilet at the Mill Street entrance to Colliston Park.

The woman was rescued by passers-by and taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for a check-up, before being discharged.

Police are investigating the incident and are keen to trace the youths, although no descriptions are available.
