A man has appeared in court accused of threatening a woman with a screwdriver and robbing her of her purse and cash.
Steven Anderson, 31, of Standalane, Annan, appeared at Dumfries Sheriff Court on a petition alleging the offence at nearby Millpark on Thursday.
He was also accused of stealing a jacket and purse the previous week, also at Millpark.
No plea was made and the case was continued. Mr Anderson was remanded in custody.
Gamekeeper admits buzzard poisoning
