Duns Knoll Hospital open after sickness bug outbreak
A Scottish Borders community hospital is open again as normal following an outbreak of a winter sickness bug.
Eleven patients and two members of staff at the Knoll Community Hospital in Duns were affected.
Admissions were stopped for a time, visiting limited and strict hygiene precautions imposed at the single-ward unit.
NHS Borders said a steam clean had been carried out at the facility and that the situation was returning to normal.
