Investigators examining a fire which destroyed a factory in the Borders have ruled out any suspicious circumstances.

Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the blaze at Bridgehaugh Dyeworks in Selkirk was probably electrical.

The investigation has been focussed on an industrial cabinet dryer.

More than 50 firefighters from all over the Borders tackled the blaze which broke out shortly before 0300 BST on Thursday.

Demolition work on what remains of the factory has been continuing with the area surrounded by security fencing.
