The trial of a couple accused of evading tax and national insurance payments totalling almost £1.75m is to take place in Kirkcudbright in July.
Stephen Maxwell, 52, and his wife Susan, 48, of Barncailzie Hall, Springholm, near Castle Douglas, deny forming a fraudulent scheme to avoid paying the contributions.
The charges relate to a period between April 1993 and May 2008.
The couple's trial has been scheduled to take place on 11 July
In addition to the tax evasion charges, Mr Maxwell also denies a contravention of the Insolvency Act.
It is alleged that as a result of the evasion the couple were able to buy Barncailzie Hall and the Crown Hotel at nearby Kirkpatrick-Durham.
